Faces On The Map
Walk close to any player and their camera streams above their avatar. Click to expand. Open a chat. The 8-bit map gives you the world; the cameras give you the people.
The Chat Layer
Global chat scrolls the side of every server — banter, callouts, server-wide trash talk. Private DMs slide in for one-on-one negotiation: pick the bet level, pick the mini-game, lock it in. Players who play each other often build rivalries that pull both of them back to the lobby every night.
Why It Matters
The cameras and the chat aren't features bolted on top. They are the social layer that turns a mathematical transaction into a human experience. Watching someone sweat as the dice roll — watching yourself sweat — is what makes the bet real.
Privacy
Cameras are opt-in per player. You can play with camera off, audio off, or both. The bet protocol doesn't care. But the players who turn theirs on usually find their duels are more memorable, win or lose.
