The Contract Is The Banker

The most important sentence on this site: ODDUEL never holds your funds. When you lock a bet in a duel, your stake transfers to the smart contract — not to a wallet we control, not to a payment processor, not to a custodial balance.

What That Means

We can't freeze your bet. We can't change the rules mid-match. We can't reach in and take a cut beyond the published 10%. We can't go offline and trap your funds. The contract has a deterministic exit for every dollar that enters: either the winner's wallet or the ODD$ pool.

Commit-Reveal

Match outcomes are settled with commit-reveal cryptography. Both players' choices are hashed and submitted before either is revealed. Nobody — including us — can see the result before it's locked. The chain settles it.

Instant Payout

When the round ends, the contract releases the 90% to the winner's wallet immediately. No withdrawals queue. No hold periods. No support tickets. The block confirms, your balance updates.

Why It Matters

Online gambling has a long history of platforms freezing big winners, vanishing with deposits, or rewriting their terms of service when payouts get inconvenient. None of that is possible here, because none of those levers exist. Code is the only operator.
